It has been 679* days since the Inland Waterways Users Board (IWUB) last met, and no official announcement has been made about when the Board will be reinstated. The IWUB is the federal advisory committee that gives commercial waterways users a voice in federal investment decisions to Congress. WCI has urged Members of Congress, Congressional committees, and the Administration to approve and reconstitute the Board and restore the industry’s right to voice its concerns about the state of inland waterways’ navigation projects.”
