We would like to invite you to attend the 1st annual Statewide Trails conference hosted by WV TRAIL!

WV TRAIL is a new group of trail advocates and leaders from around the state who are building a strong trail network and advocacy system for West Virginia. Trails are the foundation of the state’s outdoor recreation economy, which capitalizes on the positive economic, health, conservation, and community building impacts that have been pertinent in the past few years.

WV TRAILs recognizes the potential for connecting regional and local trail groups to collectively voice and advocate for positive change in order to acquire, build, maintain, and activate trails throughout the state. All land-based and water-based trails along with all user-types are considered.

As a first step for WV TRAILs, we are planning a virtual Statewide Trails Conference to highlight the great supporters and success stories of our state. The conference will be held virtually on November 16th, 17th, & 18th from 9 AM to 1 PM and will be hosted on Whova, a virtual conference platform. Through our sponsors, we will be offering complimentary tickets to all participants, a $50 value. Registration will open October 11th.

We would love to have you and/or your group attend our conference to learn about West Virginia trails and how we can elevate trail networks, trail groups, and legislative changes. The WV Trails conference will be the perfect place to gain education of past, current, and future trail projects. We will host speakers from all parts of the state to present on trail successes, measuring impact, funding trail maintenance, trail planning, and building the future of trails in West Virginia.
